Power Converter Circuits Digital Electrical and Computer Engineering

Digital Systems and Applications: The Computer Engineering Handbook, 2nd Ed.
Computer engineering is a vast field spanning many aspects of hardware and software; thus, it is difficult to cover it in a single book. It is also rapidly changing requiring constant updating as some aspects of it may become obsolete. In this book, we attempt to capture the long-lasting
fundamentals as well as the new trends, directions, and developments. This book could easily fill thousands of pages. We are aware that in this book, some areas were not given sufficient attention and some others were not covered at all. We plan to cover these missing parts as well as more specialized topics in more detail with new books under the computer engineering series and new editions of the current book. We believe that the areas covered by this new edition are covered very well because they are written by specialists, recognized as leading experts in their fields.

2009 International Conference on Computer Engineering and Technology ICCET 2009, Vol. I
This proceeding records the fully refereed papers presented at the conference. The main conference themes and tracks are Computer Engineering and Technology. The conference aims to bring together researchers, scientists, engineers, and practitioners to exchange and share their experiences, new ideas, and research results about all aspects of the main conference themes and tracks and discuss the practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted. The main goal of these events is to provide international scientific forums for exchange of new ideas in a number of fields that interact in-depth through discussions with their peers from around the world. Both inward research; core areas of computer control and outward research; multi-disciplinary, inter-disciplinary, and applications will be covered during these events.

An Introduction to Control Systems

Introduction to Electrical Engineering: Book and CD-ROM
The Oxford Series in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Comprehensive, up-to-date, and problem-oriented, Introduction to Electrical Engineering is ideal for courses that introduce nonelectrical engineering majors to the language and principles of electrical engineering. It can also be used in undergraduate survey courses taken by electrical engineering majors. Covering a uniquely broad range of topics, this text discusses the underlying concepts and methods behind various electrical engineering applications--from consumer gadgets and biomedical electronics to
sophisticated instrumentation systems, computers, and electric machinery.

Power Converter Circuits: Electrical and Computer Engineering
Power Converter Circuits reveals all key components of rectification, inversion, cycloconversion, and conversion circuits It describes switching, voltage, and current relationships, as well as converter properties, operation, control, and performance as utilized in most practical applications. Authored jointly by a veteran scholar and an accomplished researcher in the field, the book highlights methods grounded in classical mathematics and includes an abundance of worked numerical examples. Authoritatively covers AC to DC, DC to AC, AC to AC, and DC to DC converters in a single volume. Features hundreds of chapter-specific problems, with solutions provided separately at the end of the book.

An Introduction to Mixed-Signal IC Test and Measurement
Integrated circuits incorporating both digital and analog functions have become increasingly prevalent in the semiconductor industry. Mixed-signal IC test and measurement has grown into a highly specialized field of electrical engineering. However, test engineering is still a relatively
unknown profession compared to IC design engineering. It has become harder to hire and train new engineers to become skilled mixed-signal test engineers. The slow learning curve for mixed-signal test engineers is largely due to the shortage of written materials and university-level courses on the subject of mixed-signal testing. While many textbooks have been devoted to the subject of digital test and testability, the same cannot be said for analog and mixed-signal automated test and measurement.

Linear Algebra and Ordinary Differential Equations

The Computer Engineering Handbook
The Computer Engineering Handbook changes all of that. Under the leadership of Vojin Oklobdzija and a stellar editorial board, some of the industry's foremost experts have joined forces to create what promises to be the definitive resource for computer design and engineering. Instead of focusing on basic, introductory material, it forms a comprehensive, state-of-the-art review of the field's most recent achievements, outstanding issues, and future directions. The world of computer engineering is vast and evolving so rapidly that what is cutting-edge today may be obsolete in a few months. While exploring the new developments, trends, and future directions of the field, The Computer Engineering Handbook captures what is
fundamental and of lasting value.
